A Mindset For Success
Lets talk about success. Have you been searching for it? If you
have, then congratulations, your search has ended! You have
found it right here!
Yes, I said right here. Do you hear it? No, not in this article, it’s
where you hear this article. It’s in your mind. This is where true
success is found. It’s the only place you will find it. Not in a
website, a product, a sponsor, a spouse or in an advertising co-op.
It’s not even in this article.
What do I mean? Well, lets face the facts, you are where you are
today because you chose to be there. For better or worse, it was
your decision.
Let me explain. The thoughts you had led to the decisions you
made, which determined who you are today. Thoughts are real.
They are just as real as the chair you are sitting in. They are so
real and powerful that they have determined every inch of who
you are. From the length of your hair, to the lunch you ate, to the
job you currently have and to the happiness in your heart.
Very powerful!
You are 100% in control of your thoughts. In fact, your thoughts
are the only thing in this world you have 100% control over. It’s
ironic that most people don’t take advantage of the most powerful
force in existence, your thoughts, even though it has always been
at your beck and call.
The biggest factor that will determine if you are successful in your
business is whether or not you create a mindset that encourages
and empowers you to take the daily actions and disciplines
required for success.
It is not the training. It is not your website or CD’s. It is not your
Upline. It’s YOU and only you.
It’s whether or not you train your mind to think like a successful
entrepreneur. What you tell yourself determines everything. You
can talk yourself into success just as easily as you can talk your-
self out of it. The successful person simply does the things the
unsuccessful person makes a conscious decision not to do.
But be careful, your mind will play tricks on you. Your mind will
come up with logical reasons(hidden excuses) to justify not spending
time on your business, which are all self-defeating.
Reasons like:
I’m to busy.
I’m to tired.
I’m in a bad mood.
I don’t have any money.
My spouce doesn’t approve.
I’ve tried a home business before.
I don’t have the education.
I don’t like sales.
I don’t know anyone who would be interested.
I’m no good at this type of thing.
Are those truly “real” reasons, or are they really just excuses?
Here is the truth. It’s not that you can’t do something. It’s just
that you really don’t want to do it.
Everytime you catch yourself saying “I can’t” immediately translate
that into“I won’t” and see if it still makes sense. It’s that simple.
When it finally dawns on you, you’ll realize you have the power to
change your entire attitude about everything.
Consistent thoughts produce a certain pattern of thinking. Patterns
of thinking produce beliefs, attitudes and values. Beliefs,
attitudes and values produce actions. Actions produce results. The
only thing that matters are the results that you produce, and the
results ultimately stem from your thinking. Don’t let your mind
search for as many reasons as possible to justify why you need to
keep your life where it currently is. Do not look for any excuse to
justify failure. Success requires change. Your life is the physical
manifestation of your thoughts, which are 100% controllable, and
