These days, it seems like everyone wants to work
from home and make money on the Internet. But
before you even turn on your computer, the first
question you have to ask yourself is whether
you’re cut out for this kind of work.

The fact is, building a home-based business isn’t
for everyone. Some people like the commute. They
really do enjoy having a boss who tells them what
to do, and they like the routine of working
nine-to-five for an ordinary salary that can
barely pay the mortgage. Personally, I think
they’re nuts.

More reasonably, there are people who are
concerned about the risk of starting up their own
business. They’re not sure it’s worth the
investment of time and money, and they’re scared
of the responsibility that comes with running
their own company. They wonder if there is
another way to escape the rat race.

I’m sure there is. You could win the lottery or
wait for your Aunt Sue to keel over and leave you
her condo. Or maybe you could sit down with a pen
and paper and draw the blueprint for "The Next
Big Thing". Anything can happen... Right?

For me, what happened was creating a successful,
self-running Internet marketing system. It didn’t
happen without effort. It didn’t happen without
at least some initial investment of both time and
money and, of course, it doesn’t happen now
without me making sure that the taxes are filed
and the paperwork is done. But it happened.

I’m my own boss. I work from home according to my
own schedule and I get to pocket all the cash my
business makes. If you’re prepared to give an
e-business the time, the work and the money it
needs to get started and get growing, it can
happen for you too.

Are you in over your head?

How's your system working?

If your computer is anything like mine was you will find hundreds
and hundreds of e-books, pages, special reports on these topics;
Affiliate marketing, joint ventures, AdSense, list building, private
label rights, pay per click, autoresponders, creating products,
SEO, niche marketing, blogging, tracking, generating traffic,
building a web site, ....etc.

I am here to tell you right now, you DO NOT need more information
on Internet marketing. You have tons of information on your computer
about how to market and how to build your opt-in list. You don't
need to buy another Internet marketing e-book, Internet marketing
seminar, or buy another Internet marketing membership site. You
don't need to order another high dollar traffic item or enroll in every
e-course and newsletter. How many newsletters did you say you
subscribe to? You also don't need that "New Program" that will drive
100,000 hits to your website in 24 hours! Now just how targeted can
that be anyway?

Let's face it, we are in information overload!

Enough is enough! There are a bunch of honest hard working people
out there that are truly interested in being financially independent.
They long for the day where they are not dependent on corporate
America for a pay check. Where they can spend time with their
families enjoying life and having the freedom to do whatever it is
that’s important to them, to YOU.

The problem is that you are bombarded everyday with the "new"
way to do things, so you buy another e-book or e-course and start
working on it. Three days into your new plan, the next "new" way
of doing things finds it's way into your e-mail inbox, and of course
this is the one to solve all your problems. This pattern keeps on
going and soon you find yourself broke and confused. You are
spinning your wheels not knowing what to do next. Nothing seems
to be working.

IT'S GOT TO STOP HERE AND NOW!

I am going to be brutally honest with you. Despite what you have
heard, building a successful Internet business is not about marketing,
it's about managing. There are plenty of resources out there to learn
how to market, just look on you computer. The problem is learning
how to implement all of these components of internet marketing
(list building, affiliate links, web sites, traffic...etc) into a SINGLE
day-to-day workable plan.

This is where it falls apart for most people. You have all this great
information and ideas, but you don't know what to do next. You
need, more than anything else, to figure out how to MANAGE your
internet business and all it's components so you can systematically
build your business one step at a time, one day at a time.

No one plans to fail, they just fail to plan.

Until you have a daily step-by-step system in place to build upon,
everything else is just a long list of distractions. You need to learn
how to put it all together so it makes sense, and so it makes you money.

You need to decide what you want to do. Make a decision. Form
a gameplan. Where do you want to go? How much do you want to
earn? How can you do it? What are the day-to-day steps I need to
take to reach my goals? Try to find someone who is willing to invest
their time in you. Don't jump on bandwagons as they come passing
by, and there will be plenty of them. Resist the temptation to continue
going from one to the next.

Get your own list of activities to do every single week. Plan things
out into daily assignments. Just get some things on a regular
schedule that you can follow week after week to gain some momentum
and steadily grow your business. It's critical that you develop a plan
here to work your way through each week. Hit and miss tactics just
don't work. You need momentum. You need to get a system in place.
And you need to get started today!

Whether you find yourself suddenly unemployed, or have family restrictions that require you to spend more time at home, you can find an MLM online business that through patience and diligence can lead to a full-time income. Working for someone else rarely offers the freedom to live your life as you see fit and, although some jobs may pay an above average wage, not having the time to share with your family may make that money unappreciated.

When you can wake up in the morning, spends a few hours taking care of your business and then have the time free to do as you see fit, you begin to realize the independence you can have with an MLM online business. Sales, advertising and marketing have long been associated with successful companies, even before the birth of the internet, and online multilevel marketing is basically the same, only a lot faster.

Working on the internet, almost instant feedback can let a company know if their efforts are going to be successful and they can make virtually instant changes in the direction they were headed until they find the right one that will lead to success. Once they have established that route they can stick with it and continue to grow their business. However, there will come a time their growth begins to slow. Not due to a lack of vision or the lack of a growing business, but a lack of distributors needed to get the word out. They knew they had to recruit people with a desire to work independently who also needed a steady income so offering the opportunity to succeed with an online business became the new multilevel marketing.

In order for the company and their newest distributors to be successful, the sales, advertising and marketing plans had to be headed in the same direction. They did not want the company’s image tainted by different web sites being built that were not consistent with the original. They also did not want potential customers receiving information that differed from their message. In order to ensure their vision and message remained the same, the built self-replicating web sites that could be changed almost instantly to include the newest member of their distributor family. The look, feel and functionality is exactly the same for every network marketing person they add on and the results of their efforts are tracked and rewarded to the an extent that matches the efforts.

Typically, by following the lead of the company a member of the mlm online family will also be successful. It is when they fail to follow the directions that come with the opportunity that they fail to realize its full potential. By growing your own branch of the business and then recruiting others and teaching them to follow the plan that true success can be realized. Market growth and income growth can be a realized dream if you are willing to put in the effort to build your online mlm opportunity, as it needs to be built.
